Additional Dev Notes
This update was fun. Started off trying to re-balance the enemies and Reid. I quickly realised some of the enemies where overpowered as hell. Looked into it and yep, the shiny Crow and Gnome had issues that where easily fixed. Also did some re-balancing of the Attack skill so it should do more accurate damage to scale. Had to do a last minute re-balance of enemies stats as well to make it beatable, but difficult.
Speaking of Shinies, I updated them to have a shine-like animation on start and changed their name. Looks so much better aesthetically. I could do better with the shine animation but for now, its proof of concept and not a final design.
The UI changes are default that came with the new plugins. It really helps streamline the whole thing and make it look better. That should be the last of the UI updates for a while, unless something else comes along.
Elements where a bitch to configure. I wasn't even sure if I did so many times, but eventually I got it. Took many tries, and I messed it up so many times, but I eventually got it to work correctly. Also added a sub element to a few of the enemies. Can you guess which ones?
I added a Level Plugin to the fray which allows enemies to have levels! They get stronger the more levels you gain. For now, they shouldn't be TOO strong, but I might change that later as this is still an Alpha type of release.
Magic was FUN. Fire that has a chance to burn. Ice which might freeze and cant be melted by fire, which, when burned, in turn wont allow a freeze to happen. Lightning attack which will cause a paralysis state which has a high chance of happening. This took a lot of research but I thoroughly enjoyed working on these skills. I also added the first Might skill too, check it out once you get 33 TP!
So many UI updates. Most of this was just what came with the new plugins. I don't even think I got it all, but I tried. Hopefully it isn't all too confusing...
I am starting to get motivation back but I get tired fast. Perks of getting old I guess. Oh well. Stay tuned for more updates later. Night!
